Queen posting dates

If your queen is due to be posted out and you have not heard from me after the estimated posting date, please check your spam folder in case my email has gone there. I email customers a few days before queens are due to be posted out to check that the date is suitable. Another issue that occasionally causes problems is when people use an email in their Paypal account which they don’t check. The only email I have for most customers is the one which comes with Paypal

Jonathan Getty is a former chair of Belfast & District branch of the Ulster Beekeepers Association which has over 250 members and is a current committee member. He is at least a fourth generation beekeeper in the Getty family. His main beekeeping interest is queen rearing based on our native bee Apis mellifera mellifera. He started up the Belfast Minnowburn queenrearing group in 2012 and is currently involved with a new queenrearing group in Co. Tyrone which started up in 2020. He manages over 100 colonies of his own spread over about a dozen apiary sites in NI. He also rears between 400-500 queens per season using 200 Apideas. Jonathan holds a BSc Hons in Psychology from Queens University Belfast and gained a postgraduate teaching qualification at Stranmillis Training College. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.

    I order a queen off your self on Mon, 16th Aug and it was to be posted in early September as we are coming up middle of September wounding how much longer it would be many thanks Tony

    Hi Johnathon,
    Ordered Queen end of July last year.
    Any indication when it might arrive this year. I believe queens ordered this late last year will be posted sometime this year.
